Snapify am Bonbon Ball

Am Freitag den 21. Februar 2020 fand wie alle Jahre wieder der Bonbon Ball in Wien statt. Und das zum sage und schreibe 71. Mal. Eine lange Tradition und, interessanterweise, der einzige Ball der noch im Wiener Konzerthaus abgehalten wird. Doch was macht den Bonbon Ball so besonders? Was bekommen die Besucher in der Ballnacht geboten?

Jedes Jahr in der Faschingszeit gehört neben Krapfen und Verkleidungen auch der Wiener Bonbon Ball zum Fix-Programm. Gegründet unter den Titel „Süße Nacht“ fand er 1949 zum ersten Mal statt. Auch damals schon standen Süßigkeiten jeglicher Art im Mittelpunkt. Das hat sich bis heute nicht geändert und so gibt es für die vielen Gäste einiges zum naschen und probieren, ganz unter dem Hashtag #WelcomeToTheBonbonParty.
Ebenfalls fast seit Anbeginn ein Fixpunkt der traditionellen Ballnacht, ist die Wahl zur Miss Bonbon um Mitternacht. Dabei wird durch eine Journalistenjury aus den zehn Finalistinnen die neue Miss Bonbon gekürt. Diese wird in Manner-Schnitten aufgewogen, die sie dann für einen guten Zweck spendet, dieses Jahr an das St. Anna Kinderspital. Doch nicht nur Manner ist vertreten, das Wiener Konzerthaus in einen süßen Duft gehüllt, Heinl, Froneri und viele mehr stellten altbewährte und neue Leckereien zur Verfügung.
Das vielfältige Ambiente zahlt sich aus, die Besucherzahlen steigen stetig und der Bonbon Ball gehört mittlerweile zu den meist besuchten und beliebtesten Bällen Österreichs. Auf dem Tanzparkett sorgten die DeBeukelaer Tanzprinzen gemeinsam mit den Manner-Tanzprinzessinnen für Stimmung und durch das breite musikalische Angebot von klassischer Tanzmusik über
Pop- sowie Jive-, Rythm- und Blues-Klängen blieb kein Bein lange still.
Neben diesen breiten Angebot, gab es natürlich auch die Möglichkeit den Abend mittels Foto festzuhalten. Dafür stellten wir von Snapify gerne wieder unsere Fotobox zur Verfügung. Mittels Greenbox hatten die Besucher die Möglichkeit auch auf den Fotos voll und ganz in die bunte Bonbon-Welt einzutauchen. So sieht man auf dieser immer währenden Erinnerung am ersten Blick wo das war und kann sich noch lange an diesen besonderen Abend erinnern.
